Dee4 Capital Partners ApS (“Dee4”) is pleased to announce that Peter Dybdal Terney and Kristoffer Bjørnshauge have joined Dee4 as Partners.
Peter and Kristoffer will support the team primarily in commercial roles across segments, which they have done throughout their careers to date. Given their backgrounds, Dee4 will also consider opportunities in offshore and offshore wind, where we can source attractive investment propositions.
Dee4 will continue to be segment-agnostic, looking for attractive investment opportunities across both commoditised and specialised maritime sectors. We are investing for the future and now have five partners with an average age of 47 and an aggregate experience of 125 years in shipping.

Dee4 Capital is a Danish private equity firm investing in shipping, transport & logistics, energy, offshore and infrastructure. The firm was founded by Carsten Mortensen and Freddie Lee in 2019. Dee4 Capital Fund I was fully realised as of June 2024, generating a 26% net IRR to investors. Dee4 Capital Fund II is currently being deployed, having first closed in March 2024.
About Peter Dybdal Terney
Peter co-founded Nordsund in July 2014, providing consulting and shipbroking services within offshore oil and gas, wind energy and project cargo. He was previously at A.P. Moller – Maersk from 2006-14, initially as a Trainee, then Area Manager for Asia & Australia at Maersk Supply Service and latterly Manager – Offshore & Specialised Tonnage at Maersk Broker.
About Kristoffer Bjørnshauge
Kristoffer co-founded Nordsund in July 2014. He joined the Maersk Broker Trainee Programme in 2007, and worked at Maersk Broker until 2013 as Manager in Offshore & Specialised Tonnage.
