We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mikael Skov as a non-executive director of Dee4
Capital Partners ApS ("Dee4"), with effect from 12 October 2026.
Simultaneously, Mike Holm has decided to retire from the board, having served as a non-executive
director since inception in 2019. Dee4 thanks him for his support, dedication and counsel.
Mikael Skov co-founded Hafnia Tankers in 2010 and served as Chief Executive Officer for sixteen
years, through the merger with BW Tankers that created Hafnia Limited and up to his stepping
down on 1 September 2026. Over that period Hafnia grew into one of the world’s leading product
tanker platforms, listed on the Oslo Børs and the New York Stock Exchange, with a market
capitalisation of approximately USD 5.4 billion as at 9 October 2026. Before founding Hafnia
Tankers he spent twenty-five years at TORM.
At Dee4 he will serve in a non-executive capacity, contributing to the oversight and strategic
direction of the firm alongside the other continuing members of the board - Lotte Mollerup van
Hauen (Chair) and Sune Frandsen. Dee4’s management team, investment strategy and day-to-day
operations are unchanged.
“Mikael has spent sixteen years building and running one of the most respected platforms in
product tankers. He knows the industry intimately, and he has worked at scale in both public
and private markets. We are pleased that Mikael has agreed to join our board, and we look
forward to benefiting from the deep knowledge and experience he brings to Dee4.”
Carsten Mortensen, Managing Partner, Dee4 Capital Partners
“Dee4 has assembled a high-quality fleet and a serious institutional platform in a comparatively
short time, with a clear investment philosophy and an experienced team behind it. I am pleased
to join the board and to support the firm as it takes its next steps.”
